Three things you should know about me:

I love expressing myself through unique fashion pieces. Particularly items like cyber-punk jewelry, hand-painted artwork on clothes, and anything handmade. I actively seek out independent artists from all over the world and their diverse artworks, which inspire me to continue to develop my individuality and self-expression through different, eccentric art forms. This journey has taught me how even fashion can connect us all and emphasizes the significance of accepting of each other’s unique choices.

I listen to music all day! Similar to fashion, music is another art form that makes me who I am – a creative, open-minded, and expressive human. Some of my favorite songs to listen to are In Search of You by Marco Lazorvic, La Media Vuelta by Luis Miguel, Man on the Moon by Kid Cudi, Organic Work by Larry June, the entire Afterlyfe album by Yeat and all of Lil Peep’s discography. I will sit down and listen to anything with anyone because I believe that music serves as a multi-dimensional bridge that I am able to walk on with others and learn what their goals and interests are based on what a tune brings out in a chill conversation.

I have a lot of faith in my visions and objectives. As a creative individualist, I spend a lot of time drafting, reflecting, and mapping out various goals. The process is a trip, but it allows me to think ahead, run through a handful of alternatives, circle back, and make adjustments accordingly. The amount of flexibility, patience, and AHA moments that I experience grants me the ability to provide valuable input when working with people that have diverse perspectives and experiences.

My Passion for Inclusion and Accessibility:

As a former Pharmacy Technician, I assisted in a very busy Walgreens pharmacy – long lines, frustrated patients, burnt-out coworkers. It was very exhausting, but having the ability to improve the patient-pharmacist relationship was very rewarding. I am a proficient Spanish language speaker, so I would always be on my toes when it came to translating the patient’s needs to the pharmacist. Whenever I had the opportunity to help patients that had a language barrier, I gladly assisted them and saw the look of relief and happiness in their eyes that there was someone that could understand and communicate with them. I feel very proud that I have the desire to help others, and that I am able to make a difference in people’s lives by creating more inclusive and accessible environments for people of different backgrounds. In spite of the pressure this job required, I came prepared and ready to serve my community.

Something that brings me Joy:

My sunshine, sweetie pie – border collie,  Bailey. We have the same birthday week, and she makes me the happiest person on earth. Bailey is 5 years old, and she is always happy about the little things – it reminds me to be more appreciative and to live in the moment with her and those that love me for who I am. Her big toothy smile is contagious. She is the very first to greet me when I come home, and I always forget about my problems when she is around.

If my life were a movie, Daria would play me:

The late 90s sitcom is one of my favorite shows ever because Daria is just like me – witty, introverted, smart, sarcastic yet very interesting in her own way. She is a complex character that embodies my unique form of expressing myself around others. At first, I appear to be very serious, even cold, but deep down I am very empathetic, passionate and caring for my friends and family, and I am not afraid to be different or be on my own if it means standing up for my beliefs.

Eager to Join the Dirigible Studio Team:

I am looking forward to working at Dirigible because I am eager to collaborate with a team of members with different backgrounds and skill sets that I will be able to learn and grow from. Moreover, I am excited to begin working on multiple projects for various clients and get the opportunity to see how cross functional teams work together to create a proposal or idea that the client will be able to implement for the greater good of the user and the consumer!

I love doodling in my free-time!

I love making fun doodles of Bailey! I would love to learn more about creating digital art using Adobe 🙂
